TIPS FOR MAKING QUILTED VALENTINE POSTCARDS:
- Use the Quiltsmart acrylic postcard template to fussy cut your background fabric. The guides make it easy to center a fussy cut fabric on your postcard!

- Use bits of lace, scraps of fabric, and add some hand stitching to embellish your handmade Valentine's.
- Buttons can be a fun addition - especially if you have some fun novelty buttons!
- Cut words from fabric to personalize a message for the receiver. Selvages are a great source of words if you don't have any commercial fabrics with words.
- Use bits and scraps of vintage lace for a romantic look to your postcard.
- Metallic threads and/or angelina fibers add a little sparkle to your works-of-art!
