  1. Have a virtual event with Mattie (Quiltsmart Founder and President) and a huge number of gorgeous quilts and projects. Add in demos, a tour of our warehouse, and questions/answers for  fun-filled experience!

  2. Pricing: $400 for up to a 2 hour presentation. Presentation includes a Sample Project for all guests which will be shipped ahead of time to the zoom host to disperse. Some quilts will be sent to the host (quilt shop or guild) so that the attendees will be able to see them up close.

 Traveling Trunk Show

  1. We lend you a customized selection of finished quilts & projects for 3 - 4 weeks to familiarize your customers with Quiltsmart patterns & methods for a fun hands-on or virtual event!

  1. Place a trunk show order by logging into your wholesale acccount. We have 30 years of experience and will be happy to help you choose! If you don’t have a wholesale account with us, submit a request here.

  2. We’ll email you a Trunk Show Agreement.

  3. Email us back your acceptance of the Agreement.  A picture will be sent with the contents of your shipment and the value for insurance purposes. With a $500 product order, we pay for insurance and shipping on the way to you, and you pay for it coming back.)

  4. Display for 3 - 4 weeks. Get creative with fabrics and notions to get your quilters excited!

  5. Return the quilts to us, insured for the amount in the Agreement.

Teaching Engagements 

Mattie Rhoades, owner and founder, has taught Quiltsmart classes at quilt shops, trade shows, virtual retreats, and even on cruise ships!

We will customize an event for you! 
Mattie will visit your shop, guild, or group in person or by zoom. 
A typical event starts with an evening trunk show and/or quick project, followed by 2 days of classes, sometimes more. We will chat with you about your customers needs, the facility, and any other issues that might be unique to your venue. For example, you can concentrate on one quilt, one method, quick projects, or one method one day, and another the next.
 
Price: $750 per day plus expenses. Expenses include mileage and/or airfare, travel insurance, and meals during the event. 50% deposit is due at time of booking. Quiltsmart will email a detailed invoice for this deposit.
 
Cancellation: 
If cancelled by the host:  A 50% refunded if cancelled 4 weeks prior to the event. Plus, any non-refundable expenses already incurred will be the responsiblity the host. If rescheduled, we would apply your deposit to the future event, event must be within 1 year.
If cancelled by Quiltsmart:  Your deposit will be refunded in full. That doesn't happen often (twice in 30 years!), but we would then discuss rescheduling the event.
